Voodoo Loons are currently at work on their next album, the follow-up to their well received 2008 Euphobia LP.  The band reports a wealth of material in the works for the project, which currently has a working title of “The Criminal Ear”.

Per Voodoo Loons tradition, they plan to start putting a lot of free music out leading up to the release:

In preparation for the album the Loons are revamping their online presence.  They’ll soon be launching a new website, and have finally launched a Facebook page on which they’ll be providing sneak previews of the new album’s tracks throughout the mixing process (as they did last time on their MySpace page, which attracted more than 50,000 friends).  To launch the Facebook page, the band has prepared a new EP that will be available for free to all fans who “like” the new page.  Beginning 15 August Facebook users can visit the band’s new page, click the “like” button, and details will be sent on how to download the free EP.
